How many Air vent is required to my site?

Calculating the Number of Turbines Required at a Site.

Measurement of the site : First note down the Length, Breadth & Height of the Site in Feet.

Then Calculate the Total Volume.

V1= L X W X h1
V2= L X W X (h2-h1) / 4
V= V1 + V2

Total Volume X Air Change / CFM X 60 = Total No of Units.

Air Change = No of Times the Inside air of the building to be Changed by Fresh Air

Exhaust Capacity of our vents at below mentioned environment conditions.

For Example : There is a building which is 120 Ft length, 64 Ft width and 25 Ft height. The difference in temperature between indoor and outdoor is 10°C, and the wind speed is 9.6KM hr. Moreover the ventilating times of the casting factory according to the standard material is between 10 to 30 times per hour. So the ventilating cube is (100×75×25) ×10 times hr = 1920000cube hr.

 

1920000cbm/hr / 1714cbmX60 according to the different model 500/700/788 = 18.66(units)

 

So we’d better install 19 units’ ventilators for the workshop.
